A new journey

I don't want to sound like clickbait, but this is one of the most important messages I have posted on social networks in the last few years.

As many of you know, Wizcorp was acquired by Keywords Studios 3 years ago, and we have been part of the group since. Looking back, joining Keywords is one of the best things to happen to us. Wizcorp found a family that cares about its staff and business, and I found like-minded people whom I can call colleagues.

After three years working alongside Keywords’ colleagues, I'm delighted to announce that I have been appointed Country Manager for Keywords Studios Japan, effective October 1st.

In my new role, I will support our growing team of 500 staff to ensure the highest standard of services to our clients in Japan and abroad in a sustainable and socially responsible way. There will be countless challenges, but I can’t wait to tackle them with our talented team.

I'm immensely proud of everything we have achieved at Wizcorp in the last 14 years.

Saying that our journey has been a roller coaster would be a brutal understatement.

I can’t count the number of mistakes I have made as CEO. If it weren’t for the resilience and resourcefulness of our staff, Wizcorp wouldn’t be around today!

Now, I'm not leaving Wizcorp entirely! As Keywords Japan's Country Manager, I will be overseeing operations across its different Service Lines, which include Game Development and Wizcorp. But I won't be interacting with Wizcorp's staff as much as I used to, and I will miss these interactions.

Changing my LinkedIn profile after 14 years feels both exciting and bittersweet. Wizcorp has been most of my career and a big part of my identity.

I want to take this opportunity to thank everybody who has been involved with Wizcorp over the years. Clients, partners, investors, advisors, and friends. But above all, I want to thank every Wizcorper and their families from the present and the past.

Without your passion, patience, guidance, and unrivaled support, Wizcorp wouldn't be what it is today, and I certainly wouldn't be where I am. You have my deepest gratitude.

I hope I can count on your continued guidance in my new role.
